Beat Batte Royale

Juice World, Drugs and Hip Hop..It’s time for the talk.

With the recent deaths of Lil peep, Mac Miller and now Juice world maybe it’s time to have the talk. Can we blame hip hop for the demise that many young artists are suffering? Do the “harmless” but entertaining lyrics affect the minds of the people who listen to them? It’s hard not to imagine the proverbial sinister looking aged white man rubbing his hands together as he collects bags and bags of money while convincing black people to harm other black people, but who can we blame? Since his[sic Juice world] death Dec 8th 2019 many artists and blogs alike have pointed a heavy finger at Future whose mega hit molly Percocet scorched the airwaves encouraging young people to seek the world of escapeism through the use of highly addictive drugs. Lil Wayne’s , Pimp C’s, Mozzy’s, Juelz, Santana’s,...

Nick Cannon is out of his “Rabbit”ass mind! (Eminem diss x2)

Would somebody tell Nick Cannon that getting Suge Knight on a track in 2019, while he is in prison and not getting out until he is 89 years old Is not a smart move. Could you go on to explain to him that his bars hit the first track “ THE INVITATION” like a handful of wet paper towels. If there was an award for the absolute worst diss track in the history of hip hop, one would believe that Nick cannon would surely be in the runnings for the crown. In the midst of a genre of music that is normally laced with metaphors or hard hitting punchlines, Nick cannon landed girl punch after girl punch of underwhelming bars solidifying the sentiment that he ( Nick Cannon) was never a lyricist……….. EVER. Nick Cannon must have received the end of the decades most hilarious roasts after...

Beat Battle Royale Producers competition

We have spent some time here at Beat Battle Royale reorganizing and restructuring our format. We are breaking down our competition structure to 8 heats. The top two producers from each heat will move on to the next round. Each heat will consist of 8 top unsigned producers. It is not our goal here at Beat Battle Royale to “discover” the next mega producer because the next mega producer already exists. It is however the goal of our platform to illuminate the next mega producers and bring and their abilities to the forefront. We don’t expect to build our brand overnight. We expect that with loyalty to our members, and a controlled quality group of producers and some outrageous incentives to participate, we will attain the reputation that we are the place that new producers will want to shine....

And The Oscar goes to….

We have entered a new age. An age where authenticity in any fashion is deemed completely unnecessary when pursing the bag, Octobers very own Aubrey Graham has taken this sentiment to an all new low. It hasn’t been enough that Aubrey is From Toronto and that he lived a life far from the street life that he glorifies for money. It also isn’t enough that he uses a southern drawl the is more reminiscent of a high school dropout from Tennessee like he spends hours in a dialect class preparing for his next movie roll. He has seemingly escaped any and all repercussions for his fabricated existence in the realm of an under privileged minority just trying to find his way through life. What this glaringly proves is that 1. hip-hop is no longer the music of the people, and 2. Young people will believ...

YEEZUS, Christ is King!

His (Jesus Christ’s) second coming is inevitable. That is the message that will grace Kanye, Yezzy, Yeezus, West’s non secular music moving forward. He has vowed to keep it gospel. We are still waiting on “Jesus is King” which was slated to be released on Sept. 27th but as per Kanye, suffered the all to common delay. Kanye has had the ability however to blend the Gospel and secular to bring a unique and even if unintentionally popularization of Gospel music to those who might not otherwise receive “His” message. A couple of glaring examples of this ability would be his 2004 release of the Mega Hit “Jesus walks” and his 2016 Performance on Saturday night live of “Ultralight Beam” Featuring Gospel artists Kelly Price and Kirk Franklin. Kanye West who has recently shrouded his creations in my...

Welcome to Beat Battle Royale

It’s Finally here! Welcome to the first online Premier beat battle league. Beat Battle Royale was birthed from an online encounter between two friends. DJ. Midas a Dj and producer who was Born in Nigeria and Raised in the UK and Long time friend Ramone Lambert an emcee and producer from the US (AKA Nobody/2415) engaged in a one off friendly competition. After hearing a remix of Dj Midas’ “Shook Ones”, a Classic and almost tabu to touch hit record from the golden age of hip-hop, Ramone Lambert challenged him. The Battle began with humorous trash talking banter and a promise of a remix within 48 hours. The returning trash talk was epic and it turned a simple encounter into a vision. As an up and coming producer there has never been a time where the world is at your fe...
